I can’t understand why there isn’t a pure web browser available on the market. Containing as much technology as a freeview box, and in theory costing no more to produce, it could be a tiny set-top device or embedded into TV’s.

Although I’m no conspiracy theorist, I can’t help wondering whether some secret old-school-tie Msft|Intel|Dell|WD|HP consortium buys-up\pays-off anyone who comes close.Dell’s recent IdeaStorm site appealed to my Web 2.0 sensibilities, so I put two and two together and threw my idea (more of a question really!) into the ring.
