In November, Refractiv hosted West Midlands Cloud Brief 2012 at Birmingham Science Park.

 

The prestigious cloud and technology event, held in partnership with Google, Cisco, Birmingham City University and the Science Park, was aimed at informing executives and decision makers about the Cloud, current trends and technologies and the impact on business. In keynote speeches Brad Kilshaw, Google’s Enterprise Channel Manager and Wendy Carstairs, Cisco’s Head of Technical Strategy for Borderless Networks, shared their organisations’ latest thinking with an enthusiastic audience.

With over 300 people in attendance it proved to be a lively and successful day, particularly for two lucky delegates, who are now experiencing the benefit of Cloud technology first hand after winning Chromebooks donated by Refractiv.
