Fume extraction specialist Purex International has launched a new global website.
Aiming to grow its UK and international business, Purex has invested in an advanced website which has a full e-commerce capability.
Purex distributors worldwide can now view, configure and purchase Purex’s entire product range online and the website is expected to generate an increasing number of sales enquiries. The website also provides a secure staff portal with a document library and the definitive information on all products.
“Recently we have updated our corporate image and streamlined our product range so we wanted to develop a new website to reflect these positive changes.
Having undertaken staff, customer and distributor surveys we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted the new site to do. After a few meetings with Refractiv it became clear that they had the ideas and skills to make our website do much more than we had first imagined.
For example, customers can now build a machine to their requirements and automatically request a quote from us or our distributors. All our technical data has been uploaded to our site and can be viewed online by our distributors and staff wherever they may be in the world.
We are now using the site as the central hub of all our literature, pricing, image banks, technical information, communications and support services.
