Recent improvements to the Gmail offline app for Google Chrome have introduced the ability to adjust settings and download attachments.
If you haven’t yet tried the Gmail offline app, there are now more reasons to do so due to a recent update. The new version of the app, now available in the Google Chrome Webstore, introduces the ability to choose how much email is synchronised. The new Settings button (look for a cog in the top right of your offline app) opens up the ability to tell Gmail to download 1 week, 2 weeks or a month of email whilst it is online. From here you can also set up your vacation responder.Further improvements include the ability to download attachments for use offline, support for keyboard shortcuts and a number of performance enhancements.
