Preparing for emergencies with Google Earth Enterprise.

The State of Louisiana has launched a Google Earth Enterprise platform that will display evacuation routes and other essential information in preparation for the hurricane season.

During and after a hurricane and other natural disasters, Louisiana Earth will show locations of essential services such as disaster recovery centres, petrol stations, pharmacies, banks and grocery stores; as well as providing emergency services information.

Louisiana Earth will also be used to promote the State of Louisiana; showing state parks, camping sites, plus activities and events.
