Google Workspace is adjusting its prices across all plans in 2025 to reflect the integration of Gemini into its offerings. The new pricing takes effect immediately for new users and goes into effect for existing customers upon their next renewal date.

When is the New Google Workspace Pricing Coming Into Effect?
The new Google Workspace pricing will take effect at different times depending on whether you are a new or existing customer, and what type of plan you have:
- New customers: The new pricing takes effect immediately, as of 16th January 2025.
- Existing customers on a flexible plan: The price increase will start to be applied on 17th March 2025.
- Existing customers on an annual/fixed-term plan: You will continue to pay the current rate until your contract is up for renewal. When you renew your subscription after 17th March 2025, you will be charged the new, higher rate.
How to Lock in Your Current Price
If you are on a flexible plan, switching to an annual plan now means that you can save money on your Google Workspace subscription for the next 12 months. The deadline is 17th March 2025.
To lock in your current Google Workspace price before the 2025 increase takes effect, you need to switch from your current flexible plan to an annual plan. If you are already buying licences through Refractiv, our team can help you make the switch – simply get in touch.

Are you already on an annual plan? Your current price is locked in: You will continue to pay the current rate for the remainder of your annual contract. This means you won’t see the price increase immediately. The new pricing will take effect when your annual contract is up for renewal. Can You Switch Between Google Workspace Billing Plans?
You can move from a flexible plan to an annual plan at any time. Switching from an annual contract to a flexible subscription is only allowed during a free trial or at the time when your contract renews.
