As luxury furnishing and clothing suppliers to key retailers like John Lewis, exclusive interior designers, Saville Row tailors and high end fashion labels such as Dolce & Gabbana, YSL and Paul Smith, design is of utmost importance to the company. Moon approached Refractiv to create a contemporary and exceptionally stylish site that showcased their company and its product ranges and delivered the best possible user experience.

Moon’s original website had become dated in look and feel and was becoming increasingly time consuming and costly to update. There was also a need to incorporate an increased amount of content and a multi-media element as well as ensuring the optimal experience on tablets and smartphones.

Refractiv delivered a ‘responsive’ site with a strong design element to reflect the heritage, quality and contemporary styling of the company. A new simplified structure clearly showcased the different areas of the business, making navigation far easier and also accommodating the increased site content in an accessible way. The numerous product ranges were presented through multiple images and push-through links providing an inviting and intuitive experience for users and an online swatch ordering facility was also implemented. Using the WordPress content management system, Refractiv delivered a site that can be easily updated in-house in a time and cost effective way, thus eliminating delays and reducing overheads for the client.
