Google Docs has received a nice improvement, a fact finding pane that allows users to conduct research using a Google Search inside a Google Document.
The new pane can be found under the Tools menu, by right clicking on a selected word that you want to learn more about, or by pressing Ctrl+Alt+R on Windows or Cmd+Alt+R on Mac. You can choose to search for: Everything; Images; or Quotes, and get instant search results to enhance your document. Hover over the results and you’ll see a choice of: Preview; Research or Cite – and if you find an image you can simply drag it into your document.
Try out the new research pane today, and let us know what you think in the comments.
