Refractiv introduced the keynote speech by Google’s Enterprise Territory Manager, Brian Coffey, at an event to mark the 21st anniversary of Wolverhampton University last week.
Held at the Telford Innovation Campus on 8 May, the event marked 21 years of enterprise success, as part of the University’s anniversary celebrations, 21 and Proud.
Ian Weatherhogg, Refractiv’s Chief Technical Officer said: “As a UK Google for Work Premier Partner, we have a front row seat to watch how Google Apps is transforming the way local businesses in the West Midlands use technology in order to be more competitive, increase productivity and save time. Since we launched our innovative help and advice website gAppsTips.com last year, we now help 30,000 Google Apps for Business users every month, to make the most of Gmail, Calendar, Drive and more.”
Other speakers at the event included representatives from University spin-out businesses Bronze Software Labs and Pebble Learning. The event also featured the unveiling of a specially-commissioned sculpture, followed by a tour of the University’s business innovation facilities.
