Website is a triumph of style & substance for British fabric manufacturer.
Leeds based Abraham Moon is a designer and manufacturer of fine quality British 100% wool fabrics used by luxury furnishing and clothing brands worldwide. As suppliers to key retailers like John Lewis, interior designers, Saville Row tailors and high end fashion labels such as Dolce & Gabbana, YSL and Paul Smith, design is of utmost importance to the company. Moon approached Refractiv to create a contemporary and exceptionally stylish site that showcased their company and its product ranges and delivered the best possible user experience.
Moon’s original website had become dated in look and feel and was becoming increasingly time consuming and costly to update. There was also a need to incorporate an increased amount of content and a multi-media element as well as ensuring the optimal experience on tablets and smartphones.
Refractiv delivered a ‘responsive’ site with a strong design element to reflect the heritage, quality and contemporary styling of the company. A new simplified structure clearly showcased the different areas of the business, making navigation far easier and also accommodating the increased site content in an accessible way. The numerous product ranges were presented through multiple images and push-through links providing an inviting and intuitive experience for users and an online swatch ordering facility was also implemented. Using the WordPress content management system, Refractiv delivered a site that can be easily updated in-house in a time and cost effective way, thus eliminating delays and reducing overheads for the client.
We knew that our old website had become dated and that it did not reflect our brand or showcase our fantastic products. The Refractiv team totally understood our company, our requirements and our aspirations and quickly married them together to develop a great new website. We formed a brilliant working relationship because they were straight forward, responsive and always made the people actually working on our site available to us, which meant the project went smoothly and the end result was bang on brief.
